I would like to remind you something about water cans but not about the harmful effects of plastic water bottles. Nobody will tell you about the risks of these kinds of water cans but a lot of them spoke about risks of water bottles. Before that, have you ever noticed the standard of water cans that is still using at your office, home, or even at the government’s offices? it’s Polyethylene terephthalate (PET/PETE 1). As of every water bottles with the standard of PET/ PETE 1 (Polyethylene terephthalate), water cans are danger too, when water in cans become hotter or direct hitting of sunlight on such water cans for a long while cause to induce the water to react with plastic and then the water is contained of antimony (a toxic chemical) or BPA (Bisphenol). This chemical has been proven to reduce sperm count, increase the risk of breast cancer and causes other deadly diseases.
All these water cans are not made to be reused it is made only for single use. After it’s first use it should be recycled it’s a mandatory guideline from the government but it’s being tossed off today which implies the support of government to the business profits and irresponsibilities to the human health concerns.
Many environmental specialists recommend not to store polyethylene terephthalate (PET/PETE 1) in direct sunlight or in a hot environment. But here in the system, even the transportation of such water bottles are exposed to sunlight even in a heavy traffic. You can identify whether the water is toxic by a taste change if the water has any taste then try not to drink it again and don’t think it’s because of mineral water.
